The palak panner is one of my favorites and theirs was delicious. If you like spice, give it a try. They were busy for Christmas season, but quickly and efficiently accommodated us without a reservation.

The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. Long travel day with a rushed trip to multiple sights here in Salzburg left us really hungry dinner. Really cute place, friendly staff and affordable as well. Not sure if many of the other reviewers have had real good authentic Indian food. So, you might have to wait a while before you can get a seat.

If I am back in Salzburg in the future I will definitely come here if I want Indian food.Have been to 4-5 countries in Europe and various Indian restaurants in USA. Own or manage this property? None of us are really into super spicy food so we stuck with the milder options. Would be happy to go back next time we are here!Not exactly the most authentic Indian tasting food. We trusted the reviews for Taj Mahal and were not disappointed.

The food was amazing! We had the chance to chat with the owner for a bit, who was super friendly. Beautiful decor, courteous staff, sumptuous and flavorful food .we ordered the chicken biryani which was very similar to what we get back in India - flavorful with the perfect blend of Indian spices . I would rate this in top 2-3 easily.My sister and I found this restaurant on yelp. Very good authentic Indian food, huge selection of different dishes and extremely friendly and competent staff. Decor festive and fun, very cozy,  quaint and friendly place.Both the service and food were excellent. Really great Indian food,  authentic flavors, wonderful service. The service, however, is quick. Both came with rice, and were about 14 Euros each. We were there during the holiday season and the restaurant was bustling and busy, however we were able to be seated right away. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Schnell reservieren! All of the dishes were great including the beer and wine. On the menu you will find Indian fish, meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes. The chicken tikka massala and the mutton kofta are the best in the world but their Nan is incredibly good. Really delicious meals. I am glad that you had a good experience.

The butter chicken was fantastic.

Not sure if many of the other reviewers have had real good authentic Indian food. This place looks like it's family run serving gluten free, halal meat and jain food. We had been in St Gilgen for the prior three days and were in the mood for something other than Austrian food.

The service, however, is quick. The food had a good presentation, chicken was lean and cooked fine. I feel the prices are very reasonable too. It was also close to our accommodations, so I cannot comment on parking.
