This one was unique enough to stand on its own but similar enough to scratch the mystery dungeon itch. I bought this for my younger brother, and he really loves it! Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon is really a step up in all things gaming, instantly taking my favorite game's title at only halfway through the game. A tip to anyone planning on playing this game ~ manage your items well and always stock up on essentials, oh and you will die a lot like older titles. I would definitely recommend this game to anybody and everybody. This game is pretty good. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon DX is by far my favourite game on the Nintendo Switch. It can truly showcase the graphical capability of your system. Our Verdict. Also, the wanted criminals are like level 45 when the player is only level 15 or so, making using items an absolute must, which for me, ruins the feeling of me being a strong Pokémon. As a person who's played nearly all entries (minus Gates) of the series, I must say that Super has top spot for me in terms of plot, visuals, and gameplay, while having second or third in enjoyment you might get from things post-game. This increases the replay ability of the game. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

This one is gorgeous and has a cute storyline from what I have seen so far, but the thing that is throwing me off from truly enjoying the game is the forced storyline.

I got back into Mystery Dungeon with this game for the first time since Explorers of Time/Darkness, and honestly I'm pretty disappointed. Has a nice low level story and fun game play. I took a chance on a newer game as I'm a huge fan of the older games. If you are going to be purchasing a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon title, DO NOT get this one first. It’s a title that’ll hook you right in from the beginning, and keep its’ grasp onto you.

Don't get your hopes up, though; if you never play this game, you'll luve just fine With the added QR and password functions, you can ask for assistance online, and have someone rescue you even while away from the game. This title in particular had more chances to be strategic about dungeon exploring, even moreso than the past titles.

The only thing I don't care for is the long loading times when you recruit someone - with as many pokemon in the game as there are, I think you should be able to press A and get through the process a little faster. I've been a fan of the mystery dungeon spin-offs since I played Blue Rescue Team when it first came out. Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. While I do overall enjoy super mystery dungeon so far, there are some things about it that doesn't feel right.
